Coaching Experience
I have been coaching youth soccer for two years and joined OV Toros as a coach last year. I
currently coach the U9 and U10 Girls Black teams. I hold a U.S. Soccer Grassroots License and
am currently pursuing my D License, with plans to continue advancing my coaching education
and experience.
My coaching philosophy is centered on developing confident, well-rounded players who are
prepared to succeed in a competitive environment. I focus on building strong technical
foundations, developing players’ understanding of the game, and creating an environment where
players feel comfortable making decisions, taking risks, and learning from their experiences on
the field.

Coaching Journey
My coaching journey began as a player at OV Toros, where I spent more than 10 years in the
club’s competitive program. During my four years of high school, I also volunteered with the
club’s younger teams, helping lead coaching sessions and gaining early experience working with
developing players.
My playing experience in competitive soccer, futsal, varsity soccer, and at Gavilan College
exposed me to a variety of playing styles, training environments, and approaches to player
development. These experiences continue to shape how I coach and give me a broad perspective
on what young players need as they progress through the game.
After an injury shifted my focus away from playing, I discovered a new passion for coaching and
helping players develop. I went on to complete a season as an assistant coach with The Harker
School’s Upper School girls’ soccer program before returning to OV Toros as a coach.
